About SCMUN XI
A Milestone for SCMUN
After deliberate consideration, we at SCMUN have decided that our conference theme this year will be Promoting Multilateralism. In light of the several influential political deviations happening in the past lustrum, we believe it is more than necessary to put our sight on ignored but vital issues globally instead of partisan division and ceaseless arguments. By acknowledging our differences and promoting multilateral cooperation, we will widen our sights to form consensus, and to negotiate, collaborate, plan, and eventually achieve. Just as Chinese President Xi Jinping said in his speech at the United Nations General Assembly in Geneva, “There is only one Earth in the universe and we mankind have only one homeland.”
The year 2021 will mark as a milestone for SCMUN as we will strive to construct a delightful environment from academics to logistics. Quality is what we are looking for. This year, delegates and chairs will have the option of engaging vibrant debates and collaboration in our 6 redesigned committees. In addition, one committee will be conducted in North American MUN procedures as we wish to diversify our academic practices of Model UN. Our highly professional staff members will abide by our faith: compassionate leadership and serve you to the best of their abilities.
There is only one Earth in the universe and we mankind have only one homeland.
― Xi Jinping
NCPA Director's Message

Dear SCMUN participants,
Welcome to the South China Model United Nations Conference. Nansha College Preparatory Academy is honored to host you at this event, which celebrates ten years on our campus. SCMUN and NCPA share a long history, not only because this Model United Nations conference started the same year our school was founded but also because SCMUN genuinely exemplifies our NCPA's mission of academic and social excellence.
This year, the SCMUN team has organized an exciting conference that will tackle the challenges of promoting multiculturalism worldwide. I hope that the next two days bring about a productive exchange of ideas and solutions that strong leaders, such as yourself, can turn into positive change for the future.
I wish you all have a wonderful conference!

Achievers
Achievers are one who put in 100% efforts and demonstrate the ability to put their words and ideas into action in invigorating internationalism, thus making the world a better place.
MUN Director's Message
SCMUN Attendees,
I sincerely appreciate you being a part of this year's SCMUN. Even with the current global crisis, all of us at NCPA are so happy to see the continued excitement in joining SCMUN. This year's conference is brought to you by the hard work of the SCMUN leadership team which is one hundred percent student-led. Even with a much smaller team, they have continued to provide a wonderful and well-planned MUN experience.
Now, more than ever, our world is in need of strong leaders and negotiators to create the best possible situation, not only for their countries but the world at large. Because of people like you, solutions are being created, innovations are being made, conflicts are being solved, and most importantly, mutually beneficial relationships are evolving. These are the kinds of things we hope to simulate in our SCMUN conference so that every participant can further develop themselves and the societies around them.
During these next two days, you will have a chance to not only deepen your knowledge of the modern world, but also to create active change with your own words. I hope you will take this opportunity to become better negotiators, to collaborate with those around you, to plan for a better future, and to achieve new horizons. Most of all, I hope you have some fun while doing it.
Sincerely,
Nathan Laseter
